The Duchess of Sussex Delivers a Surprise Appearance at Paris Style Week

Meghan showed up unexpectedly at the Parisian fashion event this past weekend to support a fashion designer friend.

She was present at the Balenciaga show after making a solo trip over the ocean.

She has donned several creations by the brand's new creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and the visit signaled "her backing of his latest creative phase," a representative for the duchess said.

It was her first time at the style showcase for over ten years.

"Over the years, the royal figure has worn various outfits by Pierpaolo," the representative said.

"They have worked closely together collaborating on design for important events on the world stage."

"She has always appreciated his artistry and modern elegance, and tonight was no different."

"Tonight reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, shown through her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."

The duchess, who announced her arrival in Paris with an social media post, wore a light-colored ensemble of wide-leg trousers and a blazer from the line for the event on Saturday.

The duchess is last known to have traveled to the UK in late 2022 to attend a charity event and was in the nation when the late Queen passed away. She and Prince Harry then remained for the memorial service.

Prince Harry met his parent, the monarch recently amid rumors about a reconciliation.

He has made several trips to the UK in recent years for a range of activities including for fundraising occasions and to be present at legal proceedings.

Recently, the Duke of Sussex appeared to dial in for a court session in a lawsuit against the Daily Mail's publisher.
